Art, I’ve been surrounded by it my entire life. Not really understanding to know its depth but just understanding it to be a wall decoration. Thankfully, the sight of my youth has been upgraded with new lenses and I’m more in tune with the still images that tell a story of inflicting pain or love, of judgment or betrayal, of a whimsical world that we secretly all wish was reality. Whether its black & white or includes an astronomical amount of color in it, I can’t help but be drawn to the expressions cast upon screens and the hues that can contain it.
I was in Ross last night, another shameful retail trip and I happened upon these:



In my dream apartment paintings like these will occupy a general lounge/entertainment space. I’ll have a black/white/red color scheme for the kitchen/dinning and the bedroom/bathroom will have a blue/earthy feel. It seems all over the place but it will definitely be amazing. :-)
